Strategic Plan Website
Strategic plan website
Employer: Washington State University
Client Location: Pullman, Washington
Date: 2023-2025
Scope: I designed and managed WSU’s system strategic plan website, creating a hub to share the plan, progress updates, and resources. One of the most challenging and rewarding pieces was building dashboards that piped in live progress updates, making reporting and transparency accessible across the system.
Beyond dashboards, I developed features to support both leaders and communicators: links to strategic plans across WSU, resources for planning support, and a toolbox of materials communicators could use to talk about the system plan more effectively. My team and I also maintained a blog, publishing regular posts that explored different aspects of strategic planning.
Programs Used: WordPress, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
Note: I led design and development for the site through September 9, 2025. Updates since then may not reflect my work.
Note from the Designer
In October 2022 I was first hired on a contract basis to build the site, right as the Office of Strategy, Planning, and Analysis was created. It was my first project in the office, and it directly led to my position as Director of Strategic Planning and Communication.
