Strategic Plan Implementation

Scope: Implementation planning was the heart of my role. We developed a model where each year, the system identified 9–12 objectives. Leads were assigned to each, and they developed 3–4 strategies to move their objective forward.

I built reporting processes and implemented software platforms to collect updates, then transformed those into dashboards and reports for leadership and the Board of Regents.

During this process, I researched strategic plan implementation software very extensively. We executed using three major software platforms (after Excel spreadsheets) during my time at WSU.

By 2025, this model had expanded to all six campuses, creating unprecedented alignment and transparency across the system.

Implementation was my surprising forte. It combined my love for process design with my drive for execution and accountability. Seeing all six campuses onboarded into this system before our office closed was a huge success.
