Steady Ground Brand System
Brand System
Client: Steady Ground Fiduciary
Client Location: Meridian, Idaho
Date: May 2026
Beth was launching her own financial planning practice and needed the entire brand built at once: mark, website, and every piece of collateral a new firm needs in order to look established on day one. She had started the website herself, got a few clicks in, and decided it wasn’t where her time belonged. She handed the whole thing over.
The Challenge
Steady Ground works with people in their fifties and sixties who arrive in the middle of a transition they didn’t plan for. A change in work. The sale of a business. A settlement. A loss. They come carrying decision fatigue and a margin for error that feels smaller than it used to.
Most financial services branding pushes the other way, toward urgency, growth arrows, and momentum. This brand needed to feel like the room where things slow down. The visual system had to read as calm and grounded before it read as ambitious, so I built it on generous space, quiet color, and typography with weight rather than speed. Every piece was designed to lower the temperature of the decision rather than raise it.
What I built
The complete system, delivered in under thirty days:
- Logo, color palette, and typographic system
- Website design and build
- Headshot photography and editing
- Business cards, email setup, and signature lines
- Brochure design through print production
- Document and template design
- Presentation system for client meetings
- Book design, from interior layout through launch
- Video
The Result
A solo practitioner launched with a brand that reads like an established firm, and a system consistent enough that every new piece since has had somewhere to fit. Beth’s clients meet the same calm on the website, in the brochure, and across the table.

“I came to Ben completely overwhelmed with the need to rebrand. He took the vision I had and brought it to life. He was kind, attentive, responsive, and brought a calm, listening ear to the process. He took a personal brand and turned it into a gorgeous business in an incredibly short amount of time.”
