Data Website
Data website
Employer: Washington State University
Client Location: Pullman, Washington
Date: 2024-2025
Scope:I led the development of WSU’s data site from the ground up, working closely with the Institutional Research team over six months to design, build, and launch the project. The goal was to make complex data accessible, user-friendly, and consistent with WSU’s branding.
The site became an institutional tool regularly referenced by leadership and presented at Board of Regents meetings. I’m especially proud of the retention by program page, where I built a custom filtering interface that allowed users to quickly find the exact program-level retention data they needed. It took significant coding, testing, and problem-solving—but the result was simple, intuitive, and raised the bar for how WSU presents data.
Programs Used: WordPress, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
Note: I led design and development for the site through September 9, 2025. Updates since then may not reflect my work.
Note from the Designer
This project stretched me in new ways, combining strategic planning with hands-on coding and design. It was one of the most technically challenging projects I’ve led, and one of the most rewarding—seeing it become a go-to resource for leadership across the university was a highlight for me.
